Massif Elements Fire Resistant Pants have been designated by the US Army for inclusion in the FREE (Fire Resistant Environmental Ensemble) program as LWOL (Light Weather Outer Layer), designed to be worn over uniforms for added warmth and protection.

These pants have been developed using patented Massif technology, as well as patented knitting and finishing methods, which provide maximum fire protection and durability while reducing weight and comfort in use.

Three-layer fabric with breathable windproof and waterproof membrane and Nomex inner lining. In addition to the outer layer of flame-resistant material, the fleece lining is made of Massif's patented DuPont Nomex Flamestretch material.

The trousers also feature cargo pockets at shin level for easy access even when buckled, and knee boot zips for easy on and off over uniform and boots.
